End of Summer...
hehe~ I should rily post about my holiday in Yellowstone Park, but that will be so long...so i'll save it for later :)(One thing thu ... Geysers were pretty, the trip w/the only scenery of dry meadows was boring, the bisons were so cute :D:D, and despite the some nagging i got from my mom+sis ..spending time w/ family was AWESOME!!)
anyhow, more to come about holiday later :)
So summer's ending in two days for me rily..w/ the beginning of the hustle bustle school...and a semester of I dunno wut.....summer was a good one (w/ only itsybitsy regrets)!
Well yeah regrets being:
1) I missed fireworks
2) I missed going to the beach (but then again..does going to lake beaches count?! lol)
Yeah! only 2 rily~ but then those two are more like regrets of the past school yr...along w/ the I never took a proper pic of snow nor a proper pic of sakura T_____T ..so another goal to add on to the new school yr : I SHALL ENJOY AS A I STUDY!!
Summer was a good one thu :) lots of gatherings w/ friends....lots of I at least attempted to fulfill my responsibilities....lots of wrking lots....and lots of well-balanced life between enjoyment and wrk! Like now..or more like today, I must have read 8 volumes of Manga and also just finished watching Ocean's 12 + Kill Bill 2 :D whee~ happy~...And tomorrow to come is going to that Taiwanese festival thing w/ my family....and more to come for the last 2 days: room cleaning, email sending, Career Days stuff, co-op stuff & license study :)
The Manga:
The best ever (or one of the best ever). Don't know english name ..but it's about 2 music school students (one wanting to be a professional piano player and wanting to be a pro conductor), their relationships to each other and their relationships to other music school students....but those aren't the important prt...
What's important is....WOW~ w/ every moment of the manga, i can totally hear the music :D....yapyap~ the manga totally draw out my passion for music once more!! (not that I've ever lost it haha~) SO PRETTY!! oh~ and it totally reminded me of reading Bel Canto (which is another novel that made melody slipping out of those paper pages hehe :D)
The Movies:
Ocean's 12 :) definitely still one of my favs....beautiful guys + girls + soundtracks!
Kill Bill 2: actually I can't rily tell whether I liked it or no...I guess I appreciated the way how the film's put together. I remember my eng. prof used to say...it's such a modernistic film ...full of fragments (thu those may not have been her exact words...but it was something likee that...and she did compare it to the novel Anil's Ghost). Watching the film, it almost felt like the director put all types of styles to shoot a film into one film...(haha~ yeah it's rily hard for me to describe since i'm not a pro film critique...but wut i meant is that....in Kill Bill 2...this one film made me feel like I'm seeing a horror movie, a comedy, a tragedy, a comic and many more all at once!)
But I swear the funniest moment must have been when Uma Therman crawled out of the grave, struggling thru the dirt w/ one hand....all the way to when she struggled her way to get a cup of water from a convenient store ....OMINE! Me and my sis still cant help but crack up at that XD It's just so hilarious....and such a wonderful twist on horror films by making it so funny...
Anyhow now...I swear it would be smart of me to turn off this comp now and go to sleep before my mom comes upstairs and get mad....but of course..I'm still in the stage of resisting the fact I have to go back to school....and constantly convincing myself I should fool around more (by staying up late?!) before I actually do go back to school....
O well..considering that I am physically tired....I guess I rily should crash lol~
