Rebirth
haha~ I finally post something lol~ however, this post will rily be abt my passion for tango :)Yes, b/c the post abt my hectic life rite now w/ school and career days will be long enough to be such a bore, I shall leave it to next week (after career days are done!)
Now though~ something abt regaining my passion for tango..
I just rewatched Moulin Rouge tonite, b/c I just had to. Last class at FPA 140 (intro into 20th century music), our prof showed us a portion of the movie (as I will soon attach using youtube), and I just felt like I have to watch this movie, this weekend lol. The story line as usual is the typical unrealistic love story, which I shall not talk abt.
However, this El Tango de Roxane rily enchants me! I love tango (thu I dunno exactly how to dance it, but it is certainly one thing on my agenda to learn ....even more so then swimming lol~) I love this hidden passion encompassed within the melody (mostly formed by the rich accompaniment of the string quaretettes and the somewhat forceful yet emotional staccatos on the piano or acoustics combined). I love the rather graceful yet sensuous footsteps of its dancers entwined w/in the rhythm of the mysterious melody.
For real, I LOVE TANGO IN GENERAL! In the past and still, tango is one type of music friends can always find in my ipod. Like now, I have three in my ipod lol~ (and as soon as I have time to find El Tango de Roxane, I shall add it to my ipod too haha~) But for now, enjoy the clip above :D~
